Fact: For the first 7 years of my life I lived in Lake Perris,
where trolleys ran right beside a field by my house.
I like to say I grew up on the tracks... because I did!
I collected rocks and spikes with my neighborhood friends Yvonne, Jose and Poowah.
I remember the last time going to the trolley museum with my Dad and his boy scout troop when I was 6 and haven't returned since. until now.
It wasn't crowded, busy or loud like I thought it might be.
It was just as I left it... quiet, quaint and charming.
I can't say many places from my childhood are the same. Modern technology, design and big crowds have taken over the once simple family outings my family used to take.
but not this.
how refreshing!
