Since chili cook-offs are right around the corner for your ward trunk-or-treat or work Halloween party,
I thought I would share this great recipe!
I have incorporated a few chili recipes I found online and now I would like to introduce my chili recipe!
Chili ingredients:
2 lbs. ground beef
1/2 onion, chopped
1 tsp. ground black pepper
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
2 small cans tomato sauce
1 (8 oz.) jar mild PACE picante salsa
1 chili seasoning mix packet
2 (15 oz.) cans dark red kidney beans, drained
1 (15 oz.) can light red kidney beans, drained
2 (15 oz.) cans chili beans, left in sauce
Directions:
In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the
ground beef and the onion and saute for 10 minutes, or until meat is
browned and onion is tender. Drain grease, if desired.
Add the ground black pepper, garlic salt, tomato
sauce, salsa, chili seasoning mix and beans. Mix well, reduce
heat to low and simmer for at least an hour. Serves 8 people.
ENJOY!
