I know you've been so busy with finals this week,
that I wanted to lighten your load.

love letters on the typewriter

our 1957 Smith-Corona typewriter
the world's first portable typewriter,
and yes I have done my research!
nestled on our kitchen desk.
{ it works like a beauty }

this typewriter has done wonders for us.
it's been non-stop love letters full of cheesy/romantic sayings.

have you ever gone through a closet at your house?
you could find a 1950's vintage typewriter,
living where we live,
it wasn't hard!

dear Santa,

i still believe in you.
i've been good this year.
this is my short yet defined Christmas list.

1. snow boots:
a necessity for living in harsh weather conditions.

2. this book:
it's the first book i pick up in the bookstore each week,
and the last one i sadly put back.
i need to own this book. i just do.

3. this perfume:
it makes me feel feminine and alive.
plus many compliments.

4. more TIME with husband:
less work/school and more time with the man I love.

5. get my Black coat dry cleaned:
this coat is darling, warm and goes with everything.

with love,
Carolyn

this Christmas

I will send my { season's greetings } from...

I will walk past this fountain

trip on the old brick streets, not that I've done that before,,, ahem.

and dream that I'm living here alongside my husband Charlie.

i LOVE Georgia,,, wait, i really LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Georgia.
especially Savannah,
it has to be the most romantic city in the U.S
after one month of being married we visited this city and I didn't want to leave.
since marrying Charlie, it has been a dream of mine to live in Georgia, have a large home for a large family.
drink lemonade while sitting on rocking chairs on our wrap-around-porch.
oh, and teach my girls to be southern belles!
I'm a romantic, what can I say!

for mother

to my { mother }who thinks I don't sing anymore, this one's for you.
how I miss singing on Sunday evenings with you and the sisters as we gathered around the piano.
I will always remember that tradition.

p.s the quality is horrible, and half of the song sound's like I'm singing with a Cuban cigar in my mouth, you'll see what i mean.
enjoy!

your middle child,
Carolyn
