So, on Saturday my best friend Michelle (Craig) Johnson and her parents came to visit me and Charlie in Provo on Saturday and we went to P.F Changs!!!!! I got the honey chicken bowl with brown rice and it was GOOD, Charlie got the beef and broccoli bowl and I ate half of the veggies,,,yum! even though it was lunch, it was still pretty expensive, especially for me and Charlie,,,,, poor college students! The Craig's picked up the check and we were sooooo thankful, I miss that family so much and I love them to death.

last week charlie and i got all dressed up for the 80s skating party and we actually went to my committee dinner to Brick Oven in our outfits, the ONLY ones in the group!!!, and afterward we found out none of our friends were going, and hardly anyone in the ward was going! LAME, so we decided to just stay home (go to leanna's apt) and watch a movie with them!!!! We stayed in our outfits actually, and even went to the store in them,,,, so many crazy glares. Don't worry folks, there are plenty of 80s nights coming soon, and we will get a camera out and show you our amazing outfits!!! haha

SO good! we then had pound cake that leanna also made,
yeah, she wanted everything to be perfect, that's why she made everything!!!!

when they turned 16 they threw themselves a HUGE
double sweet 16 party with a dj and a million people.
Then they also had a pretty big 18th b-day party too!!

80s HOLLA

So many outfits to choose from, but REALLY, could i pull it off??? You bet I can, AND Charlie is letting me pick out his outfit tonight for the 80s skating party!!! should i totally embarrass him with an outrageous outfit, I think i might!!! haha, So i'm heading to our GIGANTIC D.I today to look for possible "turn your head" outfits for me and Char. We have to make a statement, and I'm already creating an amazing hairdo in my head, hey, i have a LOT of hair to work with, besides, did anyone know me in high school, i practically had a bad case of 80s poofy hair!!! haha

I just signed up with Weight Watchers and it's really not so bad. I have 2 months till i wed and why not be like every other bride to be and get skinny for the big day???!!! well, that's really not the reason, here they are:

1. My mom's paying for it!! yay
2. I need to feel and look my best because I'm WORTH it! please forgive the LOREAL remark
3. My mom's just started the program and we're gonna help each other
4. I'm motivated about my weight for once in my LIFE!

The NOT SO great things about being on a DIET:

1. have to count points on EVERYTHING i EAT
2. Charlie sits there and eats the things i LOVe while i eat healthy celery and carrots- but it's good, I actually LOVE vegetables!!

I FOUND IT!!!!!

So, in the long haul of planning a wedding as most can relate, finding a wedding dress is not the easiest part!! well, I was web surfing for dresses that matched my taste and style and I FOUND IT!! well, actually someone who can make the dress of my dreams in less than a month!! I couldn't believe it, I go in this next week for my first fitting and I can't wait to debut this dress on April 25th!!!!

~i'm ENGAGED~

okay, so I just got ENGAGED last night at 10:05 pm. Charles and I were walking around the lake at dos lagos and we sat on a bench that was familiar to us both. it was freezing that night and just as we were standing up to leave he got down on his knees and with the most nervous voice, he proposed!!!! I just wanted to laugh cuz Charlie sounded like he just went through puberty and had the LOWEST voice I've ever heard!! he's sooooo adorable! I haven't stopped smiling since and we are just incredibly happy. We are trying to figure out a good date, April 25th sounds good but nothing's set in stone!!! WE both have A LOT of work to do now.... it'll be an adventure!! love you all

so it was a rough day at work,,, not really, i have the easiest job in America!!! i sit at a computer and admit about 20 people for a whole 7 hours into the provo recreation center. I was pretty bored and suddenly a young man broung in some beautiful roses!! he asked for a katie vanhilderman and i told him she doesn't work here and gosh i wish my love brought ME flowers!! he soon figured out the name was for his next stop and the flowers were for me!!! i love my little Charlie,,, he's wonderful!!
