cabin fever

We went up to my cousin's family cabin for Labor Day weekend!
The cabin was an hour away from any town and we didn't get cell phone service... it was a beautiful feeling. Relaxation, sleeping, games, food and fun were on the itinerary.

It was such a FUN weekend. I haven't felt so relaxed in my whole pregnancy. It was beautiful and just what I needed!

As soon as we arrived to Cali my Grandma stopped by before she was
rushed to the hospital for only having 5% kidney usage. pretty scary.

That night we headed to Uncle Drew and Aunt Chris's house for a night swim!
can I just say it is the most delightful feeling in the water, i feel weightless!

nesting at 30 weeks

the time has come.
that maternal instinct has kicked in,,, n e s t i n g.
I have 10 more weeks to go and I can't stop thinking about what our baby needs.
I just want everything to be ready, perfectly tidy and clean for his arrival.

I have my 1st baby shower coming up this next week and I'm thrilled!
small note,,,if anyone crochets, these booties would be just delectable on our baby!

this WEEKEND!

last 4th of July we paraded down to Balboa Island to stuff our faces with this lovely delight!

but this 4th of July we're heading North to my old stomping grounds, where I spent 3 wonderful years at college. we will watch the amazing firework show on the river next to the Idaho Falls temple!

Soooo, Charlie and his good friends decided earlier this year to put together a baseball team.
The league started a little over a month ago and it's been so fun. and HOT. did I mention hot?
There are some familiar faces from my stake back home including my cousin Dane,
Vess Pearson, John Goudy and Mike Kleiwein.
All in all they have a pretty good team and they get better every week, especially Charlie.
I always knew that Charlie played ball in high school but I never knew how passionate he was about playing the game. it's a delight to watch him.
